FALL ACADEMY 2008, U7 - U14 AGE GROUPS:

The Pitt Meadows Soccer Club will start a Fall Academy the week of September 22nd on Mondays and Fridays between 5pm and 9pm at Westview Synthetic Park, for 10 sessions finishing December 1st.

Academy placement camps will be held on: Sept 12, Sept 15, Sept 19. Players need to attend all three camps. See the age groupings and times below:

U7 – U8         5 – 6pm Westview
U9 – U10       6 – 7pm Westview
U11 – U14      7 – 8pm Westview
U9-U14 Keepers   7 – 8pm Westview

These sessions are outside of the academy which runs for 10 weeks. Once the placement camps are complete players will either attend on the Monday or Friday depending on the group they are placed in.

The intention of this Academy is to allow kids at an early stage to develop their skills and confidence, based on their ability within their peer group.

Parents will register all players based on this year's division. The cost is $200 which includes an Academy Signature jersey and a Signature Soccer Ball.

The Academy coaches will move the kids based on their observations of ability, and their personal development over the 10 sessions. We understand we need to suit each player's individual needs, for players to be challenged. The Academy needs to adjust for this development. Your child may start at U7 but may move to a different group as determined by the instructors to better challenge them.

Clinics will be run by our new head coach, Brad Higgs in conjunction with other top level instructors.
